Revision Notes
Pupils can use these resources to help them prepare for the final exam.
Features of the revision notes
- Comprehensive, clearly-worded notes covering the entire syllabus in full.
- Full contents page and index of all important keywords so that pupils can find the page relevant to a question they are stuck on.
- Worked examples covering the most common routine questions from the course.
- No lengthy explanations and justifications - these are important when class teaching, but these notes are designed for pupils to follow themselves.
- If minor corrections/additions are made to the notes, a revised copy will be sent out for free to existing customers on request. Note: a record of corrections/additions is available here.

Prelims
Schools/colleges can buy prelims for 2020/2021:
Features of the prelims
- Cover all three units of each SQA course.
- Written new for the current session to a high standard, with all questions and mark schemes carefully checked. No questions above or below the level of the course.
- Editable files (not PDF format) so that Centres can adapt each prelim to match the needs of their learners: the assessment is supplied in Microsoft Word format, and the mark scheme in Microsoft Excel format.
- Accessible to pupils: these prelims should not destroy pupils' confidence, and will still maintain challenge with an appropriate balance of 'C' questions and 'A' questions.
- Produced in line with national standards aiming to emulate SQA papers closely (length, marks, balance of questions, timing) and full reference to SQA documents.
- Detailed mark scheme with alternative solutions (where appropriate) and notes to give advice on how to award marks; along with references to SQA past paper questions (where appropriate) on which mark schemes were based so that Centres can adjust the standards if they see fit.
